Commitment to Environmental Safeguarding:
Bakliwal’s environmental initiatives are rooted in his belief that the planet’s resources must be protected and managed responsibly for long-term sustainability. Over the years, he has been involved in numerous programs aimed at reducing pollution, conserving natural resources, and promoting eco-friendly practices across Rajasthan, particularly in Jaipur.
One of his most significant contributions to environmental protection is his involvement in reforestation and afforestation projects. Understanding the critical role that trees play in maintaining ecological balance, Bakliwal has funded large-scale tree plantation drives in and around Jaipur. These efforts have led to the planting of thousands of trees in urban and rural areas, helping to combat air pollution, reduce the urban heat island effect, and restore green cover that had been lost due to deforestation and urban development.
Bakliwal has also been actively involved in water conservation initiatives. Rajasthan, being one of the driest states in India, faces significant challenges when it comes to water scarcity. To address this, he has funded the construction and repair of traditional water harvesting structures such as step wells and ponds in rural areas. These structures help capture rainwater, ensuring that communities have access to water during the dry months. His work in this area also includes supporting the use of drip irrigation and water-efficient farming techniques, which have helped farmers use water more sustainably while increasing crop yields.
